LTG Cargo is a subsidiary of the “Lietuvos geležinkeliai” (LTG) group operating in the competitive market. The company carries out cargo transportation on local and international routes, rents wagons, provides freight forwarding and customs brokerage services, and performs rolling stock repair and modernization services. LTG Cargo organizes freight transportation according to the clients’ needs and is capable to transport freight to numerous directions. Lithuania has a 1520 mm and 1435 mm wide rail gauge so freight therefore is capable to deliver freight to Western and Eastern Europe as well as to Asia.

In order to gain a foothold in the international market, in 2020 LTG Cargo established subsidiaries LTG Wagons, LTG Cargo Polska and LTG Cargo Ukraine. LTG Cargo Polska develops the activity of freight transportation by railways in Poland, LTG Cargo Ukraine – leasing of shunting locomotives and wagons and freight transportation by railways in Ukraine.
